Original Tutorial: From Photoshop to HTML

Thanks for the tutorial, I am just merging into web programing, since you can't seem to be a designer these days without being expected to program. Tutorials like this help make sense of some of the challenges I have come across.

I have been hoping to find a tutorial like this. I am not new to design, but very new to the web and a walkthrough like this helps make all the books i have been reading make sense. an easy to read tutorial, and the download-able source files makes following along so much easier.

Very descriptive, good tutorial but you could cut out a lot of the fat for next time. :)

Stuff like how to take a screenshot, and working with Lorem Ipsum, could be edited out. 55min wowzer, I would aim for no longer than 10-15min.

Beside the length very good tutorial!

Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer, but no-one can make him cry.

Very nice tutorial, cool effects with the use of some interesting materials. Very creative!

Nice trick, does it matter how much light you put on the background? If you made it 3 stops brighter would that ruin it, or result in the same?

Good work.

Never thought of doing it that way! Your approach gets some nice details out of the stray hairs which are always a pain to get right. I look forward to trying this technique out! saved
