So how many of you constantly see images, websites, videos, and even posters with a starburst background? I know I when I first attempted one of these simple design elements I found myself duplicating layers and following tutorials that had me doing excessive tedious tasks for something that isn’t even vector! NO MORE! This is the easy way to do it, its fast and in vector to boot!!!

I am trying to stay away from general tutorials on how to use the program, but more on useful techniques. With that said, this tutorial assumes that you have some basic knowledge of 3ds max. In my opinion this may be one of the most important lessons/workflow that you should learn before venturing out into 3ds max modeling, and its absolutely essential if you plan on doing anything for clients, architectural renders, cars, ANYTHING!

Well here's my first video tutorial! I thought that this would be a great simple introduction to video tutorials... but I'll eventually work my way up to doing more advanced techniques in After Fx, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Actionscript, Flex, silo, nuke, combustion and some 3ds max/v-ray ones too! Make sure to go to full screen as the .FLV is very high quality and can handle it! Thanks for watching!
