Use of a layer mask would help a lot in creating reflections. If your background is not a solid color, the gradient step would be very difficult. Nice result though.

Not a bad result. A slight drop shadow on the water drops would have made it look a bit more realistic. Good job though!

While I think the outcome looks quite nice, try to refrain from using paid plug-ins as a main step in a tutorial. Most users will not have access to these plug-ins. Consider offering an alternative method as well. =)
