As with your upcoming tutorial, this one seemingly leaves out a ton of steps. Your end result is awesome, but you're leaving out a lot. Have you considered doing video tutorials?

Would really love to see a full video tutorial from start to finish of this. That way not only those already involved in 3d can benefit, but also beginners.
