I’m a big fan of pixel perfect design. So much so that whenever I visit MetaLab’s website my jaw drops in awe. The attention to detail is unbelievable. So I tried to replicate the style by designing a pixel perfect navigation menu. I was surprised at how easy it was to produce replicate , it’s because of this that I decided to write up my process. Recently I wrote an article about the technique’s Apple used to develop their website. As I am a big fan of Apple (even though the only thing I own from them is an ipod nano 4g) I have decided to look at the iphone/ipod touch interface. In this post I will show how to create the beautiful locked screen used on both devices. I may also do some other tutorials for other aspects of the interface if people are interested.
