Look at it, and tell me what makes this layout unique. 2 days of work wasted on a design that doesn't stand out, other than through its blandiocity. I agree with the creator, think of marketability (revenue comes from good marketing.) But what do you see? Main menu, login, header, 2 ads, one hotspot, one featured member spot. You can find the news below the fold... how is that advanced? This is terrible.

The registration process for the site is bull shit. I tried over 5 minutes but was not able to register keep getting message invalid referrer. And why do you want peoples birtdate for signing up. A possible scammer.

The design looks good, the layout FAILED. There is just no distinction, no leading areas.

This is a better tutorial by Talk-Mania. Not the n-th Host/Retail-Website template. I don't like the cram-everything-on-that-first-page thinking. IMHO, create focus-areas, limit those, concentrate on minimal content.
The less you need to convince others on what you can do and have done, the better.

Thats like 98 style, you wont get any customers with that style of layout nowdays.

Good tutorial! I love how you not only gave a final reslult, but also played around with the colors, obtaining various results. It was a pretty straight forward tut, but a good one too.

That was an awesome tutorial, the only thing I recommend is to try and use more of photoshop features in contrast to importing the images.
Nonetheless, splendid tutorial.

All of your tutorials are very difficult to follow. The forum look isn't that great and the gist of your tutorials seem to be "copy this code and here is a brief muddled explanation of what it's doing...basically"

Be more specific and work on your presentation to make the tutorial more palatable.
