Pretty nice concept and outcome, but you should use more layer styles to achieve the same effects, for example, when you added a darker border around the text, you could have used the Stroke layer style :)

It worked fine for me. This is the first project i have ever done in Photoshop...real easy to follow along even though it took me hours to do . thanks for posting
