Magic Wand is only really good for when you have definite differences between colors and tones. In most cases, it's not as hard and fast, and multiple selection tools are needed to get an accurate one. Also didn't see much mention of feathering. It's just not properly explained. When designing a business card, you're meant to work in millimeters at 300+DPI, not 200 x 100 pixels, or whatever. It's poorly designed.
