The outcome is a little rough around the edges. It would probably be better to use the pen tool and trace around the silhouettes resulting in smoother edges.

Is the resulting code standards compliant? The downside to doing it this way is that Photoshop creates generic names of the divs and later on if you have to do some editing you have no clue which is what at first glance. It's always better to code the layout yourself since you have more control in the naming and things like that.

The software results look good, but I was expecting a tutorial on how to actually use the software. It didn't show you how to start the recording, add in the pop up messages, etc?

You should create a hit state on each of your letters. It's tough to click on the letters sometimes. You have to be exactly over the letter.
