Okay - good coverage of hue/saturation and how to make/invert selections, but the levels of adjustment are so subjective to individual tastes, it makes it hard to take what was learned here and apply elsewhere...not like identical saturation numbers will produce equal results in other images. Nice job though for what it does cover.

Very cool! I'm not much up on Flash - but this was very easy to follow and showed a very neat effect that is easily transported for a customized animation. Well done!

I don't see much of these styles of animations anymore (and if I do on a website, I typically will move on quickly)...so am wondering about how useful this even is.

Pretty glossed over on the selection tools usage. Magic Wand is only really good for when you have definite differences between colors and tones. In most cases, it's not as hard and fast, and multiple selection tools are needed to get an accurate one. Also didn't see much mention of feathering. More details + fewer ads = better tuts

Okay, but couldn't you have configured the video to pause on load? When opening a new tab or browser window, I am not sure many people enjoy autostarts on media files...just my 2 cents...the content of the tut is pretty good.

Oh, um...I must have made my post at or near the same time as the first comment as I do not remember the "ripped" portion...this is very much a pirated tutorial - not a good idea to steal the work of others and claim it as your own - if you were in a University, you would be expelled. If you did this professionally, you would be fired. Best of luck to you and your lack of ethics - hopefully you'll learn to respect the work of others and not steal it.

I like the revised version - very helpful in showing how to get the most out of your brushes. Thanks for this.

While keeping things simple can often be helpful, I think you went a little too simple here.

Outstanding - attention to detail, width and breadth of technique and skills is evident, yet well explained. The epitome of what tutorials should aspire to! If only I could produce something so well! Fantastic job!

Lots of tuts on making text look like fire but you did a nice job of putting a twist on this to make it unique. I like the touch and effect. Good one!

It'd work better if you had some audio or just did screenshots with text rather than trying to type instructions during the video on separate layers...that made it more distracting for me. The idea is good, but the delivery was disappointing for me.

I notice you've added some detail to your tutorials, and changed the semantics some - very nice. The verbiage is much better and flows more easily this way.

Keeps saying I am being re-directed - never gets where it's supposed to go...

When saving for web, isn't it always preferred/recommended to flatten images before posting to web sources such as those suggested (sites, blogs, forums, etc.)? It's good info, but missing a key step for optimal web performance, no?

Great thoughts here on developing content - my only nit is that this is a lot of info for one tut. Would have probably been better split up as a Part I through Part V, but that's just my preference for tutorials. This was more like a developing content chapter. Still...a highly useful set of info. Overall a great job of organization, and very well-versed. Good job!

Normally I'd be all over a tut that is willing to show me some php, and on a positive note, this is very useful for the graphically inclined crowd like myself. On the flip side, you've not really deciphered it here...to me it's more of a copy/paste. With my own background I could "read" the code, but for me the tut falls a little short in explaining what the code is doing, and thus not really teaching as much. Again though, very useful scripting here, so thanks for sharing.

very detailed walk through and great references to places where you are more abrupt and less detailed. Not a pro with php, but after this tut, I could code this with confidence. Well done!

Understandable Zach...wasn't sure if the theme would work within GT - but since Adobe does classify it as aprt of the Photoshop family, figured I could at least try...oh well.
