can you please explain how you added the shadows in the last image after applying the color overlay?

I really like this one. "yourphotoshopguide" if you want to add shadows after applying color overlay you can create a new layer on top of that layer and press CTRL+E to merge it.

Sorry for missing that step but the final result is above the last picture and the last picture is an ideea of how the tutorial can be used to acieve a nice result. I have edited the tutorial and added that step.
