Start off with a new document of size 600x600, add a new layer.
With the new layer selected make a rectangular selection and fill it with color(greenish color in my case). As shown in the image below:

Duplicate the layer three times (Ctrl+J is the shortcut to duplicate). You should have 4 boxes as below.

Now make a selection on top of the four boxes & fill it with color (selection can be made on any layer). Also make a selection below the boxes & fill it. Merge all the layers. You can do this by selecting all the layers by pressing Ctrl+Alt+A and merging them with Ctrl+E key combination while the default tool is selected. There should be only one layer at this point.

Duplicate the only layer three times and arrange them in way as in the image below. Merge all the layers again (but not the background layer). Up to now you should have a grid like shape as shown below & only one layer (in addition to the background layer).

Duplicate the layer, rename the upper layer as "front" & the lower as "back".

With front layer selected press Ctrl+T then right click on the transformation & select "Wrap", your toolbar will automatically list the "Wrap" options, select "Arch" from the list.

Drag the anchor point below to 100%

Repeat Step 7 for the other layer but this time move the anchor point upward.

Join the edges of the two shapes to make a cylindrical shape like below.

Set the layer mode to "Luminosity" & opacity to 30% for the back layer, also fill the base of cylinder with the back layer selected.

Merge the two layers, press Ctrl+T & resize the shape, put objects inside it. That's it!

The tutorial teaches you how to create a 3D Basket using the wrapping options available in Photoshop CS2. Some features in this tutorial may not be available with a version of Photoshop earlier than CS2
