YouTube - ::LEVEL 87 COLOUR IT TUTORIAL::

I don't know that graphic design is all about getting a message across. Some of the best works I've seen have been aesthetically pleasing images that don't shout anything at the viewer, but simply stand apart in their own unique beauty.
There's a lot more that could be done with this picture, but as a tutorial to share effects and styles; it works really well.

I make signs and we get the message across as well the difference is the graphic "designer" gets paid more for doing what we do but paid with extra 00's to the end of the price.

Graphic designers go to school for four years thats why we get paid more. We learn about typography, layouts, conceptualization, we also learn about art history, ideas that could be implemented into design. We put a lot of work into getting to know what the business is about and elaborating on the ideas thereby creating an image for what is necessary. We spend hours trying to find the medium between the company and the consumer. Its not about slapping together anything and printing it out.

Reply to previous, sure professional mainstream graphic design requires all the organisation and co ordination, but this video is still designing a what can be used as a graphic, within the graphic designers medium if applicable to the design.

Agreed! I'm going to school for Illustration and Graphic design. I don't think making line art and colouring it in 10 minutes means you're a graphic designer. Good tutorials though.

if you select the brush tool then just go through them untill you fined a splatter like brush, if you cant fined it just use another brush and the effect will still work
