Creating a cool left navigation panel |

Start by creating a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Create an ellipse using elliptical shape tool. Apply same layer style.
|
|
|
From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Select and merge all the resulting layers. Change the layer mode to "Linear Light".

|
|
Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool. Apply same layer style.
|
|
|
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply drop shadow settings as shown.
|
|
|
|
Duplicate the layer several times and place below each other.
|
|
|
Type navigation links over these rounded rectangles.
|
|
|
Create some "leaf ornament 2" shapes and place as shown.
|
|
