A simple effect that can look great and will take only minutes to make!
This tutorial on capturing water droplets with high shutter speeds will provide you with a basic but essential techniques to producing clear, crisp and non-ghosting photographs.
In this very simple tutorial I’ll show you how to achieve a very similar Neural Density Filter (N.D Filter) effect to your photographs by using gradients in GIMP.
This method is no substitute for the real filter that you put on your lens, but if you’d like to enhance a very flat/bland shot that you’ve already taken, then this is a good start.
Give your photos a unique look with this retro effect that's super easy and fun. You will learn how to create this effect with just one layer and three colors.

Hello friends I will show how create a 3dsmax 3d shopping bags model tutorial.
One of the most challenging montage or masking jobs in the profession of post-production editing is the hair lift. When the model has long flowing hair and the subject needs to change location many post-production artists call in sick. Get it wrong and, just like a bad wig, it shows. Extract filters, Magic Erasers and Tragic Extractors don’t even get us close.
Base level – Take a shot of cumulus clouds and apply ‘dust and scratches’ to heavily blur the detail to give it an arty feel. Then use color adjustments to give it a strong sepia tone with heavy saturation, then dodge and burn to achieve the polarized look – dark at the top, light at the bottom. The background plates of 300 were very grainy, so a dash of the film grain filter here as well.
If you're like me, every now and then you find yourself needing to insert a subject image into a background where the lighting between the two doesn't quite match. Your subject image may be flatly lit, while your background contains crisp shadows and highlights -- and if you don't correct the problem you run the risk of getting a load of critical comments.
All you need is:
* 2 source images,
* a few layers,
* 1 Clone Tool,
* 1 Brush,
* 1 Layer Blending Mode
* and optionally 1 Layer Mask.
